SOUTHAMPTON FC Women Under-21s came from behind to beat AFC Bournemouth and win the Hampshire Senior Cup at the third time of asking.
Cherries won the last two finals between these sides, but Saints finally got their hands on the title following a 2-1 win at AFC Totton's Snows Stadium.
Jenna Markham's first-half strike had Cherries ahead until Sofia Mallon equalised moments after the restart.
Maddie Hotston then secured a historic win for Saints Women Under-21s with a goal 20 minutes from time, dashing Bournemouth's hopes of a treble.
Molly Barron-Clark and Gemma McGuinness both had early shots saved comfortably by Ella Pettit in the Saints' goal, before Ellie Strippel narrowly shot over.
The Southampton keeper was busy in the early exchanges, saving from McGuinness again and from former Saint Phoebe Williams.
At the other end, Anya Lucas headed wide from a Mallon free kick.
Markham headed over the bar, and Kelci Bowers shot wide as the Cherries sought the opening goal.
Bournemouth keeper Katie Scadding was called into action for the first time on 41 minutes, denying Kaylee Buckingham.
Katie James hit the post with a glancing header on 45 minutes, before the Cherries opened the scoring in stoppage time, Markham sweeping home a James cross.
But it took just 47 seconds of the second period for Saints to equalise, Mallon shooting into the bottom corner.
A Barron-Clark effort flew just wide before she powered past the post again. Esta Roberts also hit wide at the other end.
And Southampton FC completed the comeback on 70 minutes when Hoston finished into the roof of the net.
Strippel was denied by Pettit before the keeper kept a powerful Markham shot out in the closing stages as Southampton went on to defend their lead and claim the cup.
