Man overboard!
The competition in the 88-strong XOD fleet may be hot but a crewman aboard Ben Paton’s XOD XL took things a little to the extreme with a backward flip over the side soon after the start, giving spectators along the Green some interesting entertainment.
Thankfully his quick-thinking former Laser Radial world and European champion skipper and crew managed to rescue their bedraggled crewman.
