TO the untrained eye a collection of giant, brightly coloured balls floating off the coast of southern Ireland may seem a little odd.
But these are no ordinary inflatables – they are the in fact huge marker buoys used to plot out the courses at one of the biggest regattas in the sailing calendar – Cork Week.
Hundreds of Hampshire sailors have flocked to the picturesque Irish harbour this week for seven days of intense yacht racing.
