Bournemouth have signed Emerson Hyndman from Fulham after the American's contract at Craven Cottage expired.
The 20-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year deal at the Vitality Stadium, having made 28 appearances for the Cottagers.
The USA international will join up with the Cherries at the start of July after compensation was agreed between the clubs.
Bournemouth chief executive Neil Blake told the club's official website: "We've moved swiftly in the window to secure Emerson's signature and we are delighted to have finalised the deal to bring such a promising young talent to AFC Bournemouth.
"Emerson is a highly-rated young player and already boasts international experience, so will be a welcome addition to Eddie (Howe) and Jason (Tindall)'s squad.
"We now look forward to seeing him in action at the Vitality Stadium in our second season in the top flight."
