Former Southampton Tyro League footballer John Swift orchestrated Swindon Town’s 3-0 win over Notts County and rebooted the Robins' faltering League 1 promotion dreams, writes Mike Vimpany.
Teenager Swift, on loan from Chelsea, opened the second half scoring with 25 yarder and five minutes later forced the penalty which led to Andy Williams doubling the lead from the penalty spot. A late third goal by Harry Toffolo clinched a much needed victory for the League One promotion contenders.
Swift previously played for Pace Youth in the Tyro League.
