THE transfer window has reopened, and with the new season approaching, Saints are being increasingly linked with new signings and sales.
German youth defender Joshua Quarshie remains the club's only confirmed addition to Will Still's squad ahead of the 2025/26 Championship season.
Southampton are pursuing deals for a new striker and a creative midfielder, but also need to reduce the size of their bloated squad. Here are the latest Saints rumours...
Kamaldeen closing in on exit
Kamaldeen Sulemana could be joining Ivan Juric in Italy. (Image: PA) Club record signing Kamaldeen Sulemana appears to be closing in on an exit, with Italian media reporting progress in Atalanta's talks with Saints.
Ivan Juric's side have reportedly offered fresh terms to Southampton after seeing an initial bid, worth £10million, knocked back on Thursday.
Kamaldeen is open to leaving Saints, and could reunite with Juric in Italy, although other clubs are credited with interest in the Ghana winger.
The 23 year old was a regular during the Croatian manager's tenure at Saints. He has scored just two goals in the last two seasons, both under Juric.
Italian giants keeping tabs on Fernandes

The Saints fan favourite is expected to draw interest this summer, with several Premier League clubs already credited, after an impressive first season.
Fernandes, 20, is currently away with Portugal at the under-21 European Championship and has reached the final eight after they topped the group.
Fernandes won the Daily Echo Player of the Year and the club's Player of the Season award following his first season in English football.
Walker-Peters has plenty of options
Kyle Walker-Peters made 202 appearances for Saints (Image: Matt Watson / Southampton FC) While the club is yet to formally confirm Kyle Walker-Peters' exit, the two-time England international was not included on Southampton's retained list.
Walker-Peters' contract expired at the end of the season, and despite their efforts to tie him down to a new deal, he is available on a free transfer.
According to FootballLondon, Spurs have considered a move for the full-back, owing to his status as an academy graduate.
Premier League sides Everton and Wolves are also reportedly interested in the man who has played the most minutes for Saints across the last two seasons.
Just remembered that Dragan Solak said this to me:
— Alfie House (@AlfieHouseEcho) June 19, 2025
"I love every player in the team but I loved Kyle Walker-Peters. He was really one of my favourite players."
If there's still time, Kyle, do the right thing, don't let him down! And am sure Dragan's not the only one!#SaintsFC
Saints linked with League One striker
Wycombe Wanderers' Richard Kone (left) (Image: Nick Potts/PA) Southampton have been linked with interest in Wycombe Wanderers striker Richard Kone, who scored 18 goals in 43 League One games last season.
They are not the only club said to be eyeing the 21 year old, who was playing Essex Senior League football not too long ago.
Saints are in the market for a striker this summer, with Johannes Spors working on a deal to sign a number nine before attention switches to selling players.
The St Mary's side have been strongly linked with German-born USA forward Damion Downs, who is familiar to the recruitment team.
