SAINTS are able to do transfer business again with the window reopening on Monday, and remaining open until it closes in September.
Clubs in England are now permitted to finalise transfers until 7pm on Monday, September 1, when the window finally closes until January.
The transfer window has already opened and shut once this summer, opening on Sunday June 1, for a 10-day exceptional registration period.
The reason for this unusual, two-part window, is due to the FIFA Club World Cup - which began last weekend in the United States of America.
To accommodate clubs wanting to sign players ahead of that tournament, the transfer window opened early to work around FIFA transfer rules.
FIFA stipulate that the transfer windows in a calendar year when combined cannot be greater than 16 weeks, so a break had to be inserted.
The summer's first window closed on Tuesday, June 10, at 7pm. The initial 10-day period applied only to the CWC-competing 20 national associations.
But it is now open again for all clubs in England, with Saints looking to add to their first signing of the summer, 20 year old Joshua Quarshie.
Quarshie, a German youth international, signed from Hoffenheim, the former club of technical director Johannes Spors, on a three-year deal.
