SAINTS Women defender Rachel Brown has provided an update on her injury after a positive step forward in recovery.
Brown, who has been out since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in early February, has returned to running with the help of special equipment.
With the support of an anti-gravity treadmill, the 24 year old was able to run at 70 per cent of her body weight.
“I’ve been on Alter G, this is my first day back in a week or two. I’m back running on the treadmill," Brown told the Saints media team.

"(Alter G) is basically a big treadmill with an airbag around it. We can adjust bodyweight, so today I was running at 70 per cent body weight, which makes it a bit easier on my knee.
"We will see how it goes. My knee feels good, and I didn’t feel much pain today, which was a nice, pleasant surprise.
"It felt good but a bit weird to be back running after three or four months, but it was enjoyable."
