SAINTS supporters are set for plenty of long journeys to follow their club during the 2025/26 Championship campaign.
Southampton find themselves in the Championship for the second time in three seasons, following a historic relegation from the Premier League.
Many supporters will be excited by the prospect of winning games more regularly, having seen just two league victories last term.
A slight reduction in their travel, compared to the last Championship campaign, will also buoy hardened away fans.
This season's total distance is down slightly from 8,326 to 7,280 as a result of all promotions for Leeds, Sunderland and Burnley.

An away trip to rivals Portsmouth is the shortest journey, with around 20 miles separating St Mary's and Fratton Park by car.
Oxford United, Bristol City, Millwall, QPR and Watford are also favourable journeys, with each less than a 200-mile round trip.
Middlesbrough, a 594-mile round trip, is the most difficult journey, while Blackburn, Hull and Preston are also around the 500-mile mark.
Using the best driving route given, we have calculated the total distance Saints will travel as they look to reclaim their Premier League status...
