FORMER Saints youngster Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez has been named in Lyon's matchday squad to face Manchester United this evening.
Gomes Rodriguez, 17, left Southampton's academy in the summer, despite being offered a new deal, to join the French club and could now feature in the Europa League.
Lyon, fifth in Ligue 1, host the Red Devils for a Europa League quarter-final first leg this evening before a return trip to Old Trafford on Thursday, April 17.

Gomes Rodriguez is joined in the matchday squad by fellow former Saints players Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Duje Caleta-Car.
Gomes Rodriguez, an England youth international who has also represented Portugal and Venezuela, caught the eye on Southampton's youth teams.
The early physical developer scored on his Premier League 2 debut but rejected the opportunity to continue his development on the south coast.
Gomes Rodriguez joined the Saints academy from local Junior Premier League side Eastleigh Tornados in the summer of 2022.
He has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 18 appearances for Lyon's youth side this season.
