SAINTS goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been named in new England boss Thomas Tuchel's first Three Lions squad ahead of this month's World Cup qualifiers.

Ramsdale, 26, returns to the England squad having been forced to withdraw from November's camp after fracturing his finger in a 2-0 defeat at Wolves.

He could add to his five caps, but is one of four goalkeepers in the 26-man squad, alongside Jordan Pickford, Dean Henderson and James Trafford.

England get their World Cup qualifying campaign under way at Wembley against Albania on Friday, March 21, before facing Latvia at home three days later.

There is no place in this squad for Taylor Harwood-Bellis, who scored against the Republic of Ireland on his senior debut the last time England played.

Southampton-born Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has made the squad and could add to his four-caps.

Ramsdale has conceded 48 goals in 20 games for Saints this season but has shown his still been able to show his quality in a poor squad.
