SOUTHERN Brave's squad for The Hundred 2025 has been bolstered after the conclusion of the draft on Wednesday evening.

New Zealand T20 star Michael Bracewell, who helped the Black Caps reach this year's Champions Trophy final, was Southern Brave's first round pick.

Head coach Adi Birrell chose the all-rounder and also signed former Hampshire quick bowler Reece Topley and Yorkshire’s Jordan Thompson.

Two Hampshire players were drafted, bringing the total number of Hampshire stars involved in the competition to 17 across seven of the eight teams.

Batter Ella McCaughan has moved to Manchester Originals having been at Welsh Fire last summer, whilst left arm spinner Bex Tyson has been picked up in the competition for the first time and will head to Lord’s with London Spirit.

Each squad still has two Vitality Wildcard picks each to be completed nearer the start of The Hundred, which begins at Lord's on August 5.
