Ryan Garner is European champ! He beats Salvador Jimenez to claim the European Super Featherweight title.

He closed the fight out to chants of “Ryan Garner, he’s one of our own”. Fantastic performance. #GarnervsJimenez | #CollisionontheCoast | #SaintsFC pic.twitter.com/GsXl6qjYVb

Jimenez pushes Garner into the ropes, prompting another separation from the ref in the 10th round.
Jimenez is starting to get dirty now, almost as though trying to coax Garner into an angry mistake. It's not working so far.
Heavy boos for Jimenez after he hit Garner after the ref separated the two fighters. Another round in The Piranha's favour. Some great tunes in between rounds too. (Image: Leigh Dawney/Queensberry Promotions)
A brilliant end to the seventh round. He had Jimenez stumbling into the ropes before ducking two heavy shots and catching him in the body. All seven rounds to Garner.
Garner stumbled into Jimenez at the end of the fifth round before receiving a post-bell jab from his 29 year old opponent.
He delivered plenty of receipts in the next round, catching him on the ropes and in the centre of the ring. Good round from Garner.

Another strong round from 'The Piranha'. He had Jimenez pinned up against the ropes. This is only going one way as it stands.
This has been brilliant from Garner so far. Landing some great shots, including a heavy body blow just before the end of the third round.
A strong first round here in Bournemouth. The atmosphere is electric. Both landed some good shots but Garner will be loving this support.
There's only one man the crowd want to see winning this.
“There’s only one Ryan Garner!” 😇#GarnervsJimenez | #CollisionontheCoast | #SaintsFC pic.twitter.com/8gpblWpZCW

And still! Lewie Edmondson retains! Scored at 118-110- 119-109 120-110.
Lewie Edmondson goes a full 12 rounds against Oluwatosin Kejawa at the BIC. He had to weather a few good rounds from the Nigerian but closed it out well.

Edmondson slipped as he landed a good shot towards the end of the ninth round. That could be a turning point, tipping this fight back in his favour. Kejawa has done well in the last few rounds.
Two fights have broken out during this match. Who would take a gig as a steward at a boxing event?
Practically nobody watching the actual fighting in the ring at this point and it's a good fight too.
Kejawa beckons Edmondson to come closer before flexing his muscles. The Nigerian has upped his punch count. A fight has also broken out in the crowd.
Kejawa started to land more in the fourth and fifth rounds and that increasingly competitive nature has continued into the sixth round.

Edmondson is just starting to slow down after his explosive start.
The fifth round is about to start. Edmondson is still controlling things but Kejawa is staying in there.
Into the third round now and Edmondson is staying on top. Landing some good shots. The crowd is right behind him. Comfortable so far but he will want to finish this.

Edmondson is laying in heavy, heavy blows early on. He's rattled Kejawa already. A strong start from 'The Saint'

The crowd has picked up since Edmondson made his way out. He looks up for this.
Southampton’s Lewis ‘The Saint’ Edmondson makes his way to the ring.

His Commonwealth light-heavyweight title is on the line against Oluwatosin Kejawa.#GarnervsJimenez | #CollisionontheCoast | #SaintsFC pic.twitter.com/P9rur8c4mb
We are nearing Edmondson's bout. He's up next after McCormack vs Garcia, which is in the sixth round.
Saints boss Ivan Juric is here this evening with his family.
Karol Itauma makes the most of his size advantage and wins by TKO. He poses in the ring with his full team after that one.
The first chant of “Oh when the Saints go marching in” breaks out at the BIC.
— George Rees-Julian (@rees_julian) March 1, 2025
Quickly followed by “there’s only one Ryan Garner” by the heavy Southampton presence in the crowd.
Still a bit of time until his headliner but the atmosphere is building nicely. #SaintsFC pic.twitter.com/TwoRCIs7bJ
Karol Itauma against Michal Ludwiczak now under way. We are nearing the first Southampton fight. Another fight after this and then it's Edmonson vs Keiawa. Chants of "Red Army" are breaking out at points.
Frankham's arm is raised. 60-54 decision win.
Frankham bossed all six rounds and will no doubt win by decision. He landed a good few shots but Faure did well to last all six rounds.
Faure saved by the bell at the end of the first round. Frankham ended the round strongly and had him stumbling back into his corner.
Charles Frankham up next against Jahfieus Faure.
Liam Dillon deservedly wins by split decision. Mace Reugg misses out on lifting the vacant Commonwealth silver lightweight title in front of his hometown crowd.
Great fight between Liam Dillon and Mace Ruegg #CollisionontheCoast pic.twitter.com/djoOUgoxZJ
— George Rees-Julian (@rees_julian) March 1, 2025
Ruegg has been under the cosh in this fight so far. Dillon has been on the front foot and aggressive. Can only see this result going one way if it goes the distance.
Bournemouth's Ruegg up against Dillon right now in what should be an interesting match. A lot of home support for Ruegg.
SAINTS IN ATTENDANCE 😇
Southampton first-team coach Simon Rusk is here this evening to support some of the local boxers.
He was pleased with John Isaacs' win over Ezequiel Gregores via decision just now.
GARNER WALK OUT SONG 🎵
Ryan Garner will not be using his Saints-inspired walkout song this evening in Bournemouth.
