SAINTS have reached an agreement with French outfit Strasbourg over the loan and an obligation to buy starlet Sam Amo-Ameyaw.
The St Mary's side will receive a total package worth close to €10million in the summer when the 18 year old's move is made permanent.
Amo-Ameyaw will initially join the Ligue 1 outfit - who, along with Chelsea, are owned by BlueCo - on loan and could add to his 12 senior appearances.
The England youth international scored his first goal for Saints in a Carabao Cup clash at Championship Cardiff City earlier this season.
Amo-Ameyaw arrived at Staplewood from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2022, signing his first professional contract nearly a year later.
That deal saw Amo-Ameyaw tied up until June 2026 and means he would have had just 12 months left on his contract by the end of this season.
Amo-Ameyaw joined alongside Spurs teammate Jayden Meghoma, who was also sold to Brentford last summer in a transfer worth up to £10million.
A medical is reportedly already booked for Amo-Ameyaw, who has been playing for the under-21s since Ivan Juric's appointment, to complete his move.
Amo-Ameyaw was withdrawn from the starting lineup just minutes before an under-21s match against Swansea kicked off on Friday evening.
