SAINTS have been handed a new date and kick-off time for their trip to Chelsea in February, as it has been selected for TV broadcasting.
Ivan Jurić's side will now travel to the capital a day earlier on Tuesday, February 25, kicking off against the Blues at 8:15pm live on TNT Sports.
They had been due to face each other on Wednesday with a scheduled kick-off time of 7:45pm and it is a midweek round of games across the Premier League.
Saints have received the maximum allocation of 3,065 tickets for the clash, which are due to go on sale to eligible season ticket holders next week.
Chelsea are currently winless in five but sit fifth in the table and are expected to be chasing Champions League football for the rest of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Saints are stranded at the bottom of the Premier League table with an all-time worst-ever six points from 21 matches this season.
Saints were victorious on their last visit to Stamford Bridge as Ruben Selles won his first match in charge 1-0 thanks to James Ward-Prowse.
