A former Hampshire cricketer is set to rejoin the club for the Global Super League.

Hampshire Hawks will welcome back Danny Briggs, a former player who holds the record for the most wickets in the history of English T20 cricket.

Briggs, who his debut for Hampshire in 2009, played with the club until 2015 and contributed to three white-ball trophy victories in 2010 and 2012.

He made his debut against Nottinghamshire and managed to take 119 wickets in 94 matches with the club.

Following his stint at Hampshire, Briggs went on to play for Sussex and Warwickshire in county cricket and became part of the Adelaide Strikers, Oval Invincibles, and Southern Brave franchises.

The upcoming Global Super League will see the Hawks competing against Rangpur Riders on November 27 at 11pm GMT, Lahore Qalandars on November 30 at 2pm, Guyana Amazon Warriors on December 1 at 11pm, and Victoria on December 6 at 11pm.

All matches will be held at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.

The final between the top two teams is scheduled for December 7 at 11pm.
