Southampton will never win a Premiership game under Russell Martin.
His decisions are bizarre. It’s like watching a slow motion crash unfold in front of your eyes.
Never mind that we lost a game in the same ridiculous manner, to the same corner-related goal as against Ipswich.
Martin is just so predictable. The opposing teams know where he’s vulnerable and react accordingly.

Leicester sent on a wide player who wreaked havoc - because Martin in his wisdom put Manning at left back.
A position in which he was inadequate in the championship. Result? Two goals from that side.
Surely Taylor should have been introduced? Why does Martin just wait and wait?
At 2-0 up he needed to close the game out, preferably through substitutions which nullified Leicester.
He brings on Fraser who is not up to this level, sadly, and Smallbone who looked lost.
But the score line was utterly predictable from early in the second half, and the responsibility is Martin’s.
