EASTLEIGH have signed former Saints youngster Dominic Gape on a short-term deal.
He came up through the ranks at Southampton, where he spent 11 years in their youth system before spending a further three years there after signing a pro-deal.
The midfielder made his Premier League debut for them in 2014, coming on as a substitute late on during a 3-0 win over Everton at St Mary’s.
In the 2016/17 season, Gape was loaned out to Wycombe Wanderers and made 18 appearances for them in League Two.
He went on to sign a permanent deal to remain at the club at the end of the campaign.
He then went on to spend seven more seasons with the Chairboys, making appearances in the Championship and League One during his time there.
In total, whilst with Wycombe, Gape made over 200 appearances across all competitions.
At the end of the 2017/18 season, Gape helped Wycombe to secure promotion to League One after scoring the winner in a 2-1 victory over Chesterfield.
Gape began last season with Sutton United, before moving to Northampton Town in February.
