EASTLEIGH have confirmed that former Saints youngster Jake Vokins has joined the club on a permanent basis.

Vokins, 24, spent the end of last season on loan with the Spitfires and continued to train with Kelvin Davis' side as a trialist.

He featured during Eastleigh's home pre-season friendly against Southampton, which Russell Martin's side won 7-1.

Vokins has now committed his future to the National League outfit as they continue to overhaul their squad this summer.

The left-back came up through the ranks at Southampton. During his time at St Mary's, he had loan spells with Sunderland, Ross County and Woking before coming to SO50.

He made appearances in the Premier League for the Saints during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons along with a handful of extra appearances in other competitions.

Vokins made the majority of his senior appearances whilst playing for Ross County in the Scottish Premiership during the 2021/22 campaign.

Whilst on loan with Eastleigh last season, Vokins made six appearances in the National League and heavily impressed during his short stint at the Silverlake Stadium.
