MIDFIELDER Cam Bragg has signed a new contract with Saints and joined Crawley Town on loan.
After committing his future for an extra year, Bragg will embark on a season-long loan in League One.
The central midfielder's latest milestone comes after an impressive 2023/24 campaign, where he made his senior debut in the FA Cup - making two appearances.
He also stepped up to captain the Under-21s on a regular basis, impressing senior coaches in the process.
The 19 year old will link up with the newly promoted side for the season, as he joins the Red Devils on his first senior loan move.
Commenting on his move to West Sussex, Bragg said: "All month I’ve been itching at the club and at my agent just to get going.
“It’s all confirmed and I’m proper excited for it. I think it will be a massive year for me but also one that I just can’t wait to get going with.
“Playing men’s football week in, week out and playing for something that’s real and matters. Not only that but it’s a massive part of my development."
Academy director Andy Goldie added: "Following on from a successful season for Cam, where he made his first team debut, it’s an important time to continue to push his development by providing more opportunities to play first team football.
"By securing his future and his first loan, it provides him with a platform to hopefully continue on that trajectory and we look forward to continuing to support his development this season at Crawley Town."
