SAINTS boss Russell Martin has responded to a fan who got an image of him tattooed on his leg to celebrate promotion to the Premier League.
Mitchell Symonds, 22, posted ahead of their play-off semi-final that he would get Martin inked if Saints were promoted, on social media platform X.
As reported, Mitchell followed up on his promise after Saints beat Leeds United 1-0 in the Wembley final to secure passage to the top flight.

The Daily Echo showed Martin the results while out on their pre-season training camp in Spain and he admitted he was "flattered" by the move.
He said: "I've not seen a tattoo of myself before but I think luckily you can get away with it being a few things if someone asks him.
"Unless people know, I don't think they'll know it's me. Obviously, yes, it's flattering, and I'm pretty sure he'll regret the bet.
"To make a bet that he'd get a tattoo of me if we got promoted, I'm convinced at that point he must have thought we had no chance of getting promoted.
"Of course, if I meet him, I'll happily have a picture of him and he can have a signature, no problem at all."
Mitchell had already floated the idea of getting Martin's signature tattooed next to the original works if Saints have another successful season.
