DEFENDER Ella Morris thanked Southampton FC for "all their help" after completing a move to WSL side Tottenham Hotspur.
The England youth international has joined Spurs on a three-year deal after deciding to allow her Saints contract to expire.
Morris, 21, explained that she felt now was the right time to take the next step in her career having spent her entire career up to now at Saints Women.
In her first interview as a Spurs player, Morris explained that she is excited to test herself in a new environment.

She said: “Being at the Hampshire centre of excellence before it transferred to being the Southampton RTC was massive.
“I can’t thank Southampton enough for everything they’ve done to help me get to this point. I’m a WSL player with Spurs now. Spurs are a massive club and I can’t wait to get going.
“From a young age, my sister was into football. My competitive side came in so I wanted to do it as well.
“I fell in love with the sport. I’m really grateful that I get to live my dream as a professional footballer. This is my first time moving clubs so I’m excited to be in a new environment.”
