SAINTS will be hosting an open training session for supporters at St Mary's with their men's and women's first teams.

Fans can get free tickets to sit in the stands and watch the two sides prepare for their upcoming Premier League and Championship campaigns.

The event takes place on Thursday, August 1, welcoming Russell Martin's side back to St Mary's as part of the pre-season preparations. 

The day kicks off at 1pm with activities outside the Kingsland stand. Fans will also be able to enter the stadium at this time for food and drink and to secure seats.

Saints will have their matchday presenter interviewing the team managers from 2pm, and the players will enter the pitch at 2:30pm.

A Saints statement said: "Enjoy a day of entertainment, packed with interviews, t-shirt cannons, football and more!"
