SOUTHAMPTON fans have reacted to Charlie Taylor's arrival on a free transfer following his exit from Burnley.
The experienced 30 year old left-back joins on a two-year deal and will add a wealth of Premier League experience to Russell Martin's side.
Taylor has made 161 Premier League appearances during his career so far, all of those coming with the Clarets.
Here is how Southampton fans have reacted to the signing on social media...
Owen Franklin said: "I like this good deal but I don’t like us trying to sign Wood. (Would) be nice to see us go for an experienced defender with age who’s played in the premier league and (is) proven."
Peter Symonds wrote: "This is actually a good signing. Played well in a poor Burnley team."
Jamie Shields agreed, saying: "Decent signing, Premier League experience and a solid lad."
Steve Slack added: "Another freebee from a relegated club as well not sure at the moment time will tell I guess."
For everyone wanting more experience, I give you Lallana and Charlie Taylor with 452 Premier League appearances between them. #SaintsFC https://t.co/fuCbhCIpCn

@guessimwill said on Instagram: "Love this signing. Tons of experience in a position we needed someone badly in. Also on a free so we can spend money elsewhere, all for this. Welcome to the club.
When I think back to our return to the PL in 2012, it was the solid characters who went on to make the best impact (Yoshida/Davis/Clyne).

Thinking this signing may be along those same lines, so I’m in favour of it.
Good experience in this league too - all important #SaintsFC https://t.co/InoCa6V7F8
