IMPORTANT dates for the upcoming 2024/25 National League season have been announced with Eastleigh learning when they will find out their fixtures.

The fixture release day will take place on Wednesday, July 10 with Kelvin Davis having a month between that day and the start of the new campaign.

The opening day of the season will be on Saturday, August 10, while the season will come to an end on Monday, May 5.

Festive fixtures will be on Saturday, December 21, with Boxing Day fixtures taking place as normal.

There will also be matches on New Year’s Day with clubs able to switch games to New Year’s Eve if both clubs agree to do so.

The Spitfires will be looking to improve on last season's 13th-placed finish and Davis will have a full pre-season to plan for what's ahead, after initially joining the club in February.

Eastleigh have already made their first signing ahead of the new season. They have confirmed Luis Fernandez's arrival from Hampton & Richmond.
