LEE Bradbury says Eastleigh will try to focus on ways to improve themselves, rather than worry about Dorking Wanderers as the two sides prepare to meet again on Sunday (3pm).
Spitfires saw their narrow lead wiped out late on as the clubs shared a 1-1 draw at Meadowbank on Boxing Day.
And they are set to meet again in the National League as fixtures are reversed to start 2023, with Dorking heading to Silverlake Stadium this weekend.
Looking ahead to the fixture, boss Bradbury told Eastleigh’s club media: “We’re going to learn from this game (on Boxing Day).
“We’ve got the analysis boys looking at bits for us. We will try and learn how to be more effective against them, nullify them, but also be effective ourselves.
“We’ve got to improve in some things we’re doing, not worrying too much about what they do.”
Reflecting on the Boxing Day stalemate, Bradbury added: “We didn’t keep the ball well enough when we did get the ball back, but lots of positives.
“We’ve been poor away from home this year, but we won away at Woking, we were winning (at Dorking) until the 85th minute and we’ve got a point.
“That’s two games on the bounce away from home we haven’t been beaten, so we’ll build on that.”
