AFC Totton continued their good goalscoring form with a 6-1 victory at Cinderford Town, writes Benjamin Rees.
After a cagey start, the Stags exploded with three goals in eight first-half minutes. Conor Whiteley powered home the opener.
Shortly after, captain Mike Carter curled home his first of the season following some slick build-up play and Ethan Taylor beat the offside trap to score the Stags’ third.
Taylor would complete his hat-trick in the second half, sliding home his second from Matty Burrows’s delivery and slotting in his third from a Yemi Odubade cross.
Felix Miles coolly converted from a tight angle for the Foresters, but Burrows restored the five-goal advantage with the goal his performance had richly deserved.
