AFC Totton produced an excellent display to cruise to a 3-0 victory over lowly Larkhall Athletic, writes Doug Webber.
The Stags set fire to proceedings as Adam Tomasso let fly from range to open the scoring in the second minute.
With five minutes gone, Scott Rendell nonchalantly converted from 12 yards after being felled in the box following a cute clipped ball from Ethan Taylor.
Taylor could have added a third himself after half an hour, forcing a superb save from youngster Alfie Kelsey.
In the second period, home full-back Dan Restorick was given his marching orders for two bookings in quick succession.
With a minute remaining, Harvey Woods tucked home his first Stags goal from close range after meticulous midfield play.
Jimmy Ball's Stags sit ninth in the Southern Division One South table.
In the same league, leaders Sholing suffered a shock 2-1 loss at strugglers Bideford.
Dave Diaper's Boatmen went into the weekend with just one league defeat to their name this term, while Bideford had won just once themselves.
But that was all turned on its head. Sholing led through former AFC Bournemouth youngster Jake Cope, only to concede twice in the final 15 minutes, with Lewis Brooks netting both.
Elsewhere, Bashley drew 0-0 with Evesham United, while Lymington Town remain bottom and winless, losing 4-2 to Bristol Manor Farm, despite goals from Timothy Stephenson and Karol Skoczen.
