AFC STONEHAM face a tough trip to Southern League Premier South outfit North Leigh in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.
The Purples matched their best run in the competition thanks to wins over Newport (IoW) and Bashley in the preliminary and extra preliminary rounds respectively, reaching the qualifying stages for the first time since 2020.
Their Wessex Premier rivals, Blackfield & Langley, host Western Premier outfit Shepton Mallet, after defeating fellow Wessex teams Fareham and Christchurch.
Southern League sides AFC Totton and Sholing are both on the road, with Sholing visiting a familiar face in the form of Slimbridge.
Dave Diaper’s side began the season with a 3-1 win away at Slimbridge, with the Boatmen hoping for a similar result in the rematch.
AFC Totton will visit either Hampshire-based Camberley Town or Wincanton Town, depending who wins the replay between the two sides.
Victory over Melksham Town in the preliminary round was the Stags’ first win in the FA Cup since beating Fleet in a replay at the same stage in 2017.
Ties will be staged on Saturday, September 3, with winners pocketing £2,250, and losers receiving £750.
