GOALS from Craig Feeney, Ethan Taylor and Hisham Kasimu fired AFC Totton to a 3-1 win at Larkhall Athletic.
The victory lifts Totton to the top of the Southern League Division One table, reports Jack Clarkson.
Larkhall broke the deadlock on 17 minutes, when a ball that should’ve been cleared after a corner found its way into the back of the net.
Totton reacted very well, creating their own chances and came close in the 24th minute when ex-Weymouth and Bournemouth man Stephane Zubar climbed high to win a header, but put it just wide.
Five minutes later, however, Feeney took his chance well inside the box and converted to put the scores level again.
Opportunities came for both sides early in the second half, but it wasn’t until the 66th minute when substitute Taylor put Totton in the lead, having only been on the pitch for six minutes.
There were nervy moments for Totton after going ahead, but a red card for Larkhall in minute 79 almost sealed the victory
Insult was added to injury shortly afterwards, when Taylor set up fellow substitute Kasimu to put in a third for Totton.
