Harry Limburn is aiming to make it a hat-trick of wins to start his pro boxing career as he travels to Portsmouth to take on Jamie Quinn.
The 21-year-old Southampton lightweight has already scored two points victories in his fledging days in the paid ranks and is hoping to add another win to the list at Southsea Pier on Saturday night.
Quinn is an experienced and durable fighter, having been stopped just once in 74 pro bouts, and that a retirement due to jaw damage.
Limburn’s trainer, Gary White, said: “We know Harry is in for a hard night’s work.
“Harry has had a good hard camp sparring some of the best talent on the south coast and has shown big improvements in the gym from his last outing back in June and I’m hoping he can show these improvements come Saturday night.
“Once again he is taking a huge army of fans to cheer him on and they always make for a great atmosphere.”
