Discontinued UK chocolates and sweets
However, it has not been all bad news for Cadbury fans, who were also been treated to the return of several discontinued chocolates in 2024.
Cadbury Coins and the Dairy Milk Mint Crisp chocolate bar, both of which had previously been axed, made a return to UK shelves as part of Cadbury's 2024 Christmas range.
While it's previously discontinued Dairy Milk Marble and Dream chocolate bars were also spotted in B&M stores across the country late last year.

Now, yet another discontinued Cadbury chocolate bar has returned to UK shelves.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Shortcake Biscuit chocolate bars were discontinued in the UK back in 2008.
But now, after 17 years, a version of the discontinued chocolate from "another market" is available to buy in the UK.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Slices Shortcake Biscuit chocolate bar, which is from Australia, can now be found in B&M stores across the country.
Shoppers have taken to social media to share their excitement about the previously discontinued shortcake biscuit-flavoured chocolate.
One person, commenting on a Facebook post from Newfoodsuk, said: "Oh I used to love this one in the early 2000s! I missed it so much."
Another added: "This was literally the s**t!! Off to bnm i go!!"
A third shopper posted: "These were the best ever chocolate."
This fan commented: "They did this YEARS ago. Like 20+? And I’ve waited for it to come back."
While someone else said: "Omg I dream about this chocolate."

Cadbury issues update on future of Dairy Milk Shortcake Biscuit chocolate bar
A Mondelēz International (Cadbury owners) spokesperson revealed that while the Dairy Milk Slices Shortcake Biscuit bar is available at B&M, it is not directly sold by Cadbury in the UK (having come from "another market").
Revealing the long-term future of the popular Cadbury chocolate in the UK, the spokesperson added: "We discontinued the similar Cadbury Dairy Milk Shortcake Biscuit bar in the UK in 2008 and we have no current plans to bring the product back.
"However, we have plenty of other delicious bars with a little crunch for consumers to choose from, such as the recently launched Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff bar and our Cadbury Dairy Milk & More range.”
