The Britain's Got Talent semi-finals are upon us, seeing some of the world's 'best' acts go head-to-head for the £250,000 cash prize and a slot on the Royal Variety Show.
This year's series has been an exciting one, with magicians, dance troupes and singers entertaining us over the last couple of months.
The first round of the BGT semi-finals is set to take place tonight (Saturday, April 26) and will be available to watch on ITV1 and ITVX from 7pm.
Major format change announced for Britain's Got Talent semi-finals
What makes the semi-finals different this year is the fact that these will be aired every Saturday rather than nightly over the course of a single week.
Long-time show presenters Ant and Dec expressed their support for this change, according to The Sun.
Discussing the changes, Britain's Got Talent presenter Dec said: “I really think the live shows will be more spectacular than ever this year."
The ITV star added: “As they’re now going out weekly, it will have a really positive impact for the acts because they’ll be able to work on their performances.”
