One of Weatherfield’s most dangerous villains is back and will be making an appearance in a matter of days, three years on from his debut on the ITV soap.
Scott Anson, who plays the role of Lauren Bolton’s father, Reece Bolton, will be back once more, following a brief appearance in Coronation Street around a year ago.
Although many details about his return to our TV screens next week are being kept top secret, it seems Reece wants to make contact with Lauren by using Frankie, her baby.
As Frankie remains in hospital due to being unwell recently, Lauren is stunned to receive a mystery package for her son next week.
Corrie's dangerous Reece Bolton returns to ITV soap
Lauren, who is played by Cait Fitton, soon realises the parcel is from her estranged father and decides to visit him in prison.
The pair are about to become face-to-face after a long two years but will Corrie viewers work out what he wants from his daughter?
Reece was sent to jail in early 2023 after becoming a member of a far-right gang, ran by Griff Reynolds.
However, Coronation Street has now released spoilers for his scenes in upcoming episodes.

Scott recently teased his return was on the horizon after he shared a post on X, formerly Twitter.
On March 14, he posted a picture of Reece’s prison outfit hanging on a clothes rail, including a blue jumper and grey tracksuit bottoms, along with a label which said ‘Reece’ on it.
He captioned the tweet: “Just visiting @itvcorrie,” along with a flaming heart emoji.
This came after he first hinted about his Corrie comeback at the beginning of the year, with a photo of a script and a letter which said “welcome to Coronation Street!”
Soaps That Have Won the Most Awards
Scott also wrote alongside it, “bad boy Reece is back” which certainly "excited" fans.
One responded: “Absolutely brilliant.”
