He will be joined by new companion Belinda Chandra, played by Varada Sethu, with Millie Gibson's Ruby Sunday also making a return.

When is the new series of Doctor Who on TV?
The new series of Doctor Who begins on Saturday, April 12.
It will be split into eight episodes, with a two-part finale.
Series 15 will officially launch at 8am on BBC iPlayer and later the same day at 6.50pm on BBC One in the UK.
