Nescafe Dolce Gusto has been forced to apologise after revealing one of its pod flavours has been discontinued.
The coffee brand has an array of pod flavours including everything from the standard Cappuccino, Flat White and Espresso to the more extravagant Starbucks Caramel Macchiato and Kit Kat Hot Chocolate.
But one pod flavour that is no longer part of the Nescafe Dolce Gusto range is the Americano New York Morning Blend.

Shoppers "gutted" as Nescafe Dolce Gusto discontinues popular pods
One shopper took to X (formerly Twitter) recently to ask why they had been unable to find Americano New York Morning Blend pods.
They posted: "Have you stopped making the New York Morning blend... it's the best flavour you do but it seems to have vanished from the shelves !!?"
Nescafe Dolce Gusto - a brand that falls under the Nestle banner - replied saying the popular pod flavour had been discontinued and was no longer available.
A spokesperson commented: "Sorry you're missing it. Unfortunately it wasn't as popular as others in the range, so it's been discontinued.
"But we'll surely let the team know you'd like to see it back."

The Nescafe fan responded: "Gutted !!"
Nescafe Dolce Gusto's Americano New York Morning Blend pods received mixed reviews during their time in circulation.
Some people loved the pods, with one fan, posting a review on the Nescafe Dolce Gusto website, saying: "The only pods I buy. Happy to see they weren’t limited edition."
While another added: "I loved it, I love that it's more intense than a regular Americano, perfect to wake me up in the mornings."
Nescafe Dolce Gusto has said its New York Morning Blend pods were discontinued because they weren't "as popular as others in the range". (Image: Nescafe Dolce Gusto) Others weren't as impressed with the Americano-style pods, with them being described as "flavourless", "weak" and "bitter".
One person commented: "This has to be the worst attempt at coffee I ever tasted.
"Even instant tastes better. I should have read reviews before I buy. I like my coffees strong hence I bought this "intensity 10" coffee which tastes like intensity 1 water with some vague flavour."

This isn't the first range of pods Nescafe Dolce Gusto has discontinued recently.
Late last year it revealed via social media that Coconut and Oat Flat White pods had both been axed from its range.
