Coronation Street is gearing up for a few exits in 2025 with Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker, being among those who are saying goodbye to Weatherfield.
Smith is said to have filmed his final scenes which left a Corrie legend in tears at the thought of him leaving the show after 14 years.
Back in January, Smith announced he’d be leaving the show after learning his character was being written out of the soap.
While appearing on the On the Sofa podcast which he co-hosts with other Corrie stars Ben Price and Jack P Shepherd, Colson revealed that his final weeks of filming left Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe, in tears, reports the Metro.

He said: “Sally Dynevor started crying in make-up the other day and I said, ‘Woah, woah, woah, there is still a week for me to mess it all up yet. Don’t tell me I’m all Mr Lovely because you wait!’”
The newspaper said Colson’s final scenes will see his character Craig die “in a blaze of glory”.
In March, Colson had a leaving celebration with his co-stars being pictured on his Instagram account.
In a post on the social media platform in January, he shared he’d be leaving, writing: “Autumn last year I was told that Craig Tinkers time on the Cobbles is to come to end in 2025.
