Sainsbury's has discontinued one of its popular own-brand instant coffees despite it being labelled "the best on the market" and "the only coffee I drink" by shoppers.
Big name brands have discontinued products recently, including Coca-Cola, Cadbury and Nestle.
Major supermarkets like Aldi and Tesco have also axed several products already in 2025.
In February, Aldi confirmed its Very Berry Muesli had been discontinued before earlier this month (March) it revealed Dairyfine Blonde chocolate bar has been the latest product to get the chop.

Sainsbury's has also discontinued several items in 2025, including its mini sausage rolls and a range of eggs.
But now the supermarket chain has revealed its Mellow Roast Instant Coffee (200g) has been axed.

One shopper wrote: "I have used and loved this coffee for many many years but you seem to have stopped stocking it. Why?"
While another said: "Why is this coffee out of stock as it is amazing, great taste."
Another fan posted on X (formerly Twitter) asking: "@sainsburys also will you be getting this coffee back in stock."
A Sainsbury's spokesperson replied to the post on X, confirming the worst for fans of the Mellow Roast Instant Coffee.
Hi Helen, I'm sorry that you've experienced technical issues. Please try clearing your cache/cookies in browser, or deleting and reinstalling the app. These steps often help with this kind of issue. The coffee in the screenshot has sadly been discontinued. Thanks, Ben
