Grab your wellies because here’s your chance to win tickets to the ‘UK’s last affordable camping festival’ this year!
UK festival prices are continuing to soar which makes it a hard task for families to find a fun, safe but budget friendly event to make their summer memories.
However, Sunshine Festival, which is in its 16th year, is one of the last affordable UK camping festivals, offering a four-day music experience at a fraction of the cost of major corporate events.
Some UK festivals cost more than £300 per person to attend and camp but Sunshine Festival has focused on keeping costs low and family-friendly, making sure children and multi-generational families can still enjoy live music, entertainment and camping without breaking the bank.
So if you’re looking for a fun, safe and budget-friendly summer festival, Sunshine Festival could be the one for you and your family.
Set in the picturesque Worcestershire countryside, Sunshine Festival includes family camping areas and activities for kids.
Unlike many other festivals, attendees can park right by their tents, making it easier for families with young children.
When is Sunshine Festival 2025?
Sunshine Festival runs for four days every August Bank Holiday.
This year, the festival runs from Thursday, August 21 to Sunday, August 24.
The festival is within walking distance of Upton-upon-Severn in Worcestershire.

How much are Sunshine Festival tickets and where can you get them?
Sunshine Festival is proudly independent and avoids using major ticketing platforms like Ticketmaster to keep control of its pricing and policies.

Over the years, 100,000 people have attended Sunshine Festival and this year, you could too.
Tickets are available to buy at the Sunshine Festival website but music fans can try to win tickets in Newsquest’s giveaway - more information can be found below.

Sunshine Festival lineup and headliners 2025
Ocean Colour Scene, Adam Ant and Lulu are headlining the festival this year plus you can expect a diverse lineup of classic and contemporary artists.
“Festivals should be about togetherness and community, not just how much you can afford to pay,” says Festival Director, Steve Cass.

Cass also highlighted the challenge of gaining national visibility for the festival: “There’s a real focus on the London-centric festival scene, but some of the best festival experiences are happening in the Midlands and beyond.
“We have everything a major festival has—incredible artists, stunning settings, and a welcoming atmosphere—but we don’t have the media hype that big-name festivals in the South enjoy.”
