Eurovision's UK entry, Remember Monday, will take to the stage to perform at the Grand Final this weekend.
Charlotte Steele, Lauren Byrne and Holly-Anne Hull will bring their song What The Hell Just Happened to the global stage at this year’s event held in Basel, Switzerland.
The trio will perform for the first time during the live second semi-final (May 15) as a preview of what viewers can expect in the Grand Final held this Saturday, May 17.
Although the 'Big Five' countries - UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain - automatically qualify for the final, it was introduced last year that they would also perform their entries in full during the semi-finals.
Remember Monday have spent years performing across the world after kickstarting their career on The Voice UK in 2019 - so they are no strangers to singing live.
What happened to Remember Monday on The Voice?
Remember Monday received a four-chair turn from all coaches – Olly Murs, Tom Jones, will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson for their rendition of Seal’s Kiss From a Rose.
While on The Voice, they also performed Home and Jailbreaker.
They picked Jennifer as their coach and made it through to the knock-out rounds before exiting the competition.
But their bond with Jennifer didn’t end there, and she continued to be a mentor for them, even praising their Eurovision entry in recent weeks.
In 2022, they appeared on her show, The Jennifer Hudson Show, in the US.
Speaking about why they chose Remember Monday as a name, they said: "It’s kind of like a silly in joke when we were at school we had free periods and they always fell on a Monday.
"So Monday just kind of turned into our day and then we just made it into an in joke like ‘oh don’t forget Monday’ or ‘see you on Monday, you better remember’. It just came from that."
How did Remember Monday meet?
Charlotte, Lauren and Holly-Anne all met at sixth form and share a close bond outside of the band.
In 2023, the trio decided to leave their jobs and focus on Remember Monday full-time. Last year, they posted a message to mark the one-year point on their socials.
"It’s officially been a whole year since we all quit our jobs to do the band full time,” it read.
"We can’t thank you all enough for supporting us on this crazy journey we’ve been on so far!
"It’s safe to say we are literally having the best time of our lives and can’t imagine doing anything other than the band!"
Are Remember Monday going on tour?
Announced earlier this month, the girls will be embarking on their biggest tour to date later this year, with a run of UK shows across 16 cities.
From London to Nottingham, Dublin to Glasgow, Remember Monday will bring their music to iconic venues in each city, including a headline show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
