Gogglebox star Tom Malone Senior has revealed he was taken to hospital in a post on social media.

The Malone family have been regulars on Gogglebox since 2014.

Tom Sr, Julie and their son Shaun are regulars on the Channel 4 show while the couple's daughter Vanessa and her children have also been known to make an appearance from time to time.

The family's other son - Tom Jr was also part of the Gogglebox until 2021.

Gogglebox star Tom Malone Sr taken to hospital

Malone Sr posted a photo of him in a hospital bed with bandaging on his shoulder on Instagram late on Tuesday (February 4).

In the post, he said: "Woke up with a nappy as a dressing ,was caught off guard when the nurse said she had to change my nappy !

"Grateful to our NHS ,top notch care Thank you , home now !!!!"

The Gogglebox star did not specify what he was in hospital for.

Fellow Gogglebox stars and fans took to the post, to wish Tom Sr all the best and a speedy recovery.

Fellow Gogglebox couple Dave and Shirley Griffiths posted: "Get well soon mate love Dave and Shirley xx."
