Tesco announces arrival of new KitKat Sharing Bars
Nestle shared a description of the chocolate bars on X, saying: "‘Have a Break’ together with the new @KitKat sharing bars, a combination of light and creamy fillings, smooth chocolate, and a marbled coating."
The makers of KitKat, Nestle, recently issued an update on the future of Drifter chocolate bars after several queries on social media asking if they were making a comeback.
Nestle's Drifter bars were discontinued in 2018 due to "changing consumer preferences".
Discontinued UK sweets/chocolates
The company has been responding to fans on X, alerting them to the fact Drifter bars have in fact been discontinued and assuring them they will pass on their calls for its return to the rest of the team.
The supermarket has also announced that Milky Way Crispy Rolls have made a reappearance on shelves in some Tesco Express stores.
This treat is one that chocolate fans have looked out for since it was discontinued in 2022.
Some took to social media with heartfelt pleas for it to come back and petitions were even created – one of which garnered more than 8,000 signatures.
