The second week of The Traitors series three is now well underway, but some fans have admitted they “dislike” the Faithfuls – do you agree?

The BBC game show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman returned to our screens on New Year’s Day, seeing 25 hopefuls embark on their journey to win a cash prize of up to £120,000.

Currently, two Traitors (Linda and Minah) remain in the Scottish Highland castle, following Armani’s banishment last week.

Meanwhile, two contestants (Fozia and Alexander) were brought back into the game last night (January 8) – could one of them be recruited as a Traitor soon?

The Traitors fans slam Faithfuls on BBC series three

But over on Reddit, fans of The Traitors have been debating the 2025 cast – it comes as one user posted in the subreddit r/TheTraitors: “I don't think I've ever disliked a group of Faithfuls as much as this lot.”

The post had more than 200 comments, so let’s see what other BBC viewers had to say.

One responded: “I don’t think it helps that there’s a group of faithful like Francesca and Lisa who seem decently nice but are hardly in it so it feels like the narrative is entirely driven by a small group of people who aren’t so likeable.

“Like I do genuinely think there are more likeable faithful than unlikeable just the narrative doesn’t portray that.”

In agreement, this person replied: “Bang on the money. I think the most likeable ones are the ones in the background right now are the ones who'll actually stick around to the end.”

This account wrote: “The loud ones always seem to dominate. Quieter players get overshadowed but could be more interesting if given screen time. Reality show editing rarely shows full picture.”

Someone else put: “Completely agree, I wonder if the lack of male traitors has contributed to this. Now the boys club has formed in the faithfuls when previously it would’ve been split between the two camps, resulting in really toxic faithful behaviour.”

A Reddit profile also said: “This is by far the worst cast of any Traitors season, so many grossly unlikeable people. It’s normally my favourite TV show but I’m not even sure I’ll finish watching the season!!

How 'The Traitors' TV Show Works

“Why are there soooo many in the same age demographic too - that’s also making it a less compelling watch this year.”

One Traitors fan shared: “I think now everyone is kind of aware of the show and how it operates, so you will start to get less interesting contestants and gameplay, imo.”

Additionally, one viewer commented: “I think the new additions will shake it up — specifically Fozia. She was quick to identify Kas being mistreated and just as quick to call it out. She is Mother.”

This person added: “I don't think there is anything especially likeable or dislikeable about this group, I think with the game adding more active tasks where faithful can decide whether to risk themselves has created a situation where we see more selfish play from the faithfuls instead of getting the cash and trying to get a shield....”
