Another Coronation Street star has announced their departure from the soap, making it five cast members to leave in a month.
Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley, will leave the cobbles later this year.
The 28-year-old said: “My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish.
“After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities”, reports The Sun.

Charlotte has reportedly told sources that although she is “loving the show”, she is curious to see what other opportunities could come her way.
The star is the fifth to announce her exit as four other Coronation Street stars have announced in the last four weeks that they’re also either leaving or being written out, including Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw), Colson Smith (Craig Tinker), Luca Toolan (Mason Radcliffe) and Sue Devaney (Debbie Webster).
Charlotte added: “It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.
“After a brilliant four years for Daisy it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities.”
A source told The Sun: “Charlotte has loved her time on the cobbles but is young, ambitious and hungry to see what else is out there for her.
