Have you ever wished you could decide on a "big" storyline for one of your favourite EastEnders characters? Well, you will soon be able to (for the first time).
Fans of the BBC soap are to be given a vote on whether Denise Fox reunites with her estranged husband Jack Branning or picks secret lover Ravi Gulati.
The results will be revealed during a special live episode as part of EastEnders' 40th anniversary week.
The vote comes after Denise (Diane Parish) and Jack’s (Scott Maslen) tumultuous marriage fell apart last year, when it was revealed that he had been having an affair with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

EastEnders fans to decide how 'big storyline plays out'
Chris Clenshaw, executive producer of the BBC soap, said of the poll: “We’re all so excited to give our audience their first ever chance to decide how one of our big storylines plays out.
“Their votes will determine whether Denise picks Jack or Ravi, with the outcome being revealed as part of our live episode.
“There is a lot to come over the next few weeks for all three involved, so it’ll be extremely exciting to see which way the audience choose to take the story.”
Since they parted, Denise and Jack have given into passion a few times and shared warm moments as part of their blended family, but Denise has been secretly seeing former flame Ravi (Aaron Thiara) since a romantic encounter on Christmas Day.

Ravi and Denise have a complicated relationship due to Ravi’s troubled past, and the fact he used to be in a serious relationship with her daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams).

Details of how viewers can vote on Denise’s decision are expected to be announced in due course.
As part of the EastEnders 40th anniversary celebrations, the BBC also recently revealed Ross Kemp is to return in the role of Grant Mitchell.
The 60-year-old last appeared in the show in 2016 but will finally be back in 2025, with his storyline being kept a secret by the broadcaster, which says it will be “explosive”.
