THE red, white and blue bunting will be out and the Champagne corks popping at sea as cruise lines mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Cunard will have all three of its ships in Southampton together for the biggest Jubille event outside London on Tuesday with 20,000 people in Mayflower Park for a Red Arrows diplay and and a massive fireworks send-off when the ships depart.
P&O Cruises will host a royal gala dinner onboard each ship with a toast to the Queen, and a rendition of the national anthem after evening theatre performances.
Royal-themed movies will be shown onboard and each ship will hold a street party and a tea dance.
Fred Olsen Cruises will offer “red, white and blue” menus onboard and create a street party atmosphere with bunting, Union Jacks, traditional games and British sing-alongs.
A special Jubilee cocktail has been created and entertainment will focus on British nights with variety shows and quizzes. Plans also include a grand tea dance.
Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas, will host a hosted a lavish Diamond Jubilee Big Lunch tomorrow for its 3,634 guests, is putting on special dishes and the ship's Royal Promenade will be decked out in red, white and blue bunting with a special 'Rock Britannia' performance by the onboard team on Monday.
