AN after-school group in Romsey has been judged “outstanding” in an Ofsted inspection.

Halterworth Kids Club was handed top marks when it was assessed by inspectors last month.

The Montfort Hall-based club, provides early years learning as well as after school facilities for children aged five to 11.

Inspectors wrote in the report: “Children are extremely happy and they show a clear sense of ownership and belonging where the overall atmosphere is one of fun, laughter and vibrancy.

Staff value what children say and do, and children of all ages and abilities play together collaboratively.”
