Army reservists helped the coastguard with a rescue operation after a boat became stranded on a sandbank.
On September 12, Solent Army Reservists from 165 Regiment RLC, based in Millbrook Road West, Southampton, played a crucial part in a coastguard-led rescue operation.
The incident involved a boat carrying four people that became stranded on the Bramble Bank in the Solent.

After receiving the alert, army vessels CSB 45 and CSB 70 were dispatched to the scene and coordinated a swift response to ensure the safety of all on board.
The army reservists worked closely with His Majesty's Coastguard and Hamble Independent Lifeboat, ensuring the safe recovery of the casualties and their vessel.
Thanks to the professionalism and teamwork shown by everyone involved, all four individuals were successfully rescued without injury.
