The Old Telephone Exchange on Ringwood Road, Bransgore, is the subject of an application to change its use from a veterinary surgery into a one-bedroom, one-person dwelling.
The proposals would reuse the existing single-storey building, with no increase to its footprint, height or overall size.
Minor changes to the windows are planned to provide natural light and outlook for the future occupier.
The proposed property would measure approximately 39 square metres and include a kitchen and dining area, living space, bedroom and bathroom.
