Plans to increase the size a family home on the edge of the New Forest have been given the go-ahead.
The district council has improved an application to upgrade a property in Monks Walk, Dibden Purlieu, by adding two-storey front, side, and rear extensions, plus a single-storey rear extension.
The application, which did not spark any objections, was supported by the local parish council.
A district council report said the new-look house would not be "overtly dominant" in the street scene, given the size of the site and the property's position on the plot.
It added: "The increased built form will not cause and unacceptable loss of light or adversely affect the immediate neighbour's outlook.
"The proposal broadly accords with the aims and policies set out in the Hythe and Dibden Neighbourhood Development Plan.
"Despite the proposed increase in built form, the property is currently six bedrooms and will be reduced to five bedrooms.
"There will be no increase in occupancy or requirement to increase parking."
